Open Source Orchard (“we”) is the public website of Laughed Out Squares, a family farm in the United States. This page explains what data this site collects and what happens to it.
What we collect and why. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site – pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, and interaction patterns such as scrolling and clicks. Clarity may record anonymized session replays. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We use it to figure out which content is useful and which pages are broken.
Email. If you join our newsletter, your email address is stored with MailerLite, our email service provider, and used solely to send you the newsletter and subscriber perks you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We never sell, rent, or share the list with anyone.
Cookies. Analytics tools set cookies to distinguish visitors. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works fine without them.
Affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site (for example, a nursery or Amazon) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Their trackers are theirs, not ours.
Your rights. Want to know what we have about you, or want it deleted? Email hello@opensourceorchard.com and we’ll handle it. For subscribers, the fastest path is the unsubscribe link, which removes you from everything.
Children. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes. If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it.
